PUBLIC HEARING: Fiscal Year 2024 Budget
The the North Tama Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2024 budget on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the North Tama Junior High Commons (immediately prior to the regular monthly board meeting). The proposed budget will be published in the Friday, March 24 edition of the NORTH TAMA TELEGRAPH and can also be viewed here.
In this 8-minute YouTube video, Superintendent Hill explains the proposed budget, including the components of the proposed tax rate for FY 24. The tax rate being proposed is $9.37 per 1000 dollars of taxable valuation, which is a $0.63 decrease compared to the current fiscal year.
